Apple releases iOS 11.0.2, the second update to iOS 11 said to fix cracking sounds in iPhone 8 and 8 plus.

Apple has released the second update to iOS
11 barely two weeks after the first was released. The iOS which was released in
September has received positive ratings from users across globe and Apple is doing everything to make sure nothing is left to chance. The latest
update, according to Apple, will fix the cracking sounds reported to have been
heard during phone and Facetime calls by some iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus users.

Some of
the early users of the new devices reported on Apple support forums of hearing some
sounds coming from the in-built earpiece. To remedy this, Apple released an
update yesterday claimed to have resolved the issue.
Apple said
“the update includes bug fixes and improvement for your iPhone or
iPad.” The company further went ahead to list some of the features contained in the update. See below:
* Fixes an
issue where cracking sounds may occur during calls for small number of iPhone 8
and * plus devices.
* Addresses
an issue that could cause some photos to become hidden
* Fixes an
issue where attachments in S/MIME-encrypted emails would not open.
