Leaked images appeared online today showing what is believed to be the Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL. Both smartphones are followups of the previous editions released last year- the Google Pixel and the Pixel XL. The Phones which were manufactured by HTC and LG will be running stock Android 8 Oreo.
They will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset. The Pixel 2 comes with 5-inch, 1080p display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 while Pixel 2 XL is believed to sport a 6-inch display, QHD+ display in an aspect ration of 18:9. The Pixel 2 XL design shows much reduced bezel compared to its previous model but definitely not near the stunning design of the iPhone X or the Samsung Galaxy S8.
Take away the design, the two phones are quite similar in specifications with both sporting 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage memory, and 12MP of rear cameras.
Rumor has it that the Pixel 2 will go for $649 for the 64GB model while the 128GB model will sell for $749. As for the Pixel 2 XL, the 64GB model will be priced at $849 while the 128GB model will be priced at $949. The Pixel 2 will be rolled out on October 19th while the Pixel 2 XL will be rolled out on the 2nd of November.

If this is anything to go by, both phones are nothing but improved versions of themselves. They are nowhere close to the designs or technology associated with the iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S8 plus. Not even the now-popular dual camera setup?
Both phones will be launched on the 4th of October. Let’s wait and see if this is true.
