Glo free recharge card giveaway crashes Linda Ikeji Social

If you still need any more evidence that Nigerians like awoof, ask Linda Ikeji. The young Entrepreneur who lunched  her own social networking platform on the 1st of this month learned the hard way that sometimes promising Nigerians free things comes with lots of preparation.

At exactly 17:00 today, the time for the commencement of the free Glo recharge card giveaway, the website became inaccessible due to the number of users lurking and tirelessly refreshing the page.

Linda Ikeji had earlier announced to her over 120 thousand users that the cards worth 1 million would be given away on the official page of LIS.
As at the time of writing this post, the site remains down.
